Woodlands Holiday Park & Country club Chalet 8 Park rules and information. Situated in the picturesque area of Snowdonia National Park, Chalet 8 has everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing break. Nestled in the trees with outstanding views of the countryside, you can even see the Tal-y-llyn steam train as it passes in the distance. Whether you are looking for activities or simply to unwind you will find everything you need close by. We are near to both Tywyn and Aberdyfi beaches for sailing, surfing, paddle boarding, crabbing off the pier or simply taking in the view. For walkers and mountain bikers alike, there are lots of areas to explore including Bird Rock, Coed- y – Brenin, or travel on the Tal – y-llyn steam railway stopping at Dolgoch and Nant Gwernol. On site you will find the outdoor swimming pool and country club to enjoy a drink and a meal, whilst remaining in a quiet and peaceful location. Site Rules. Dogs must be always kept on the lead. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the clubhouse or around the swimming pool. Vehicles must adhere to 10 mph whilst on site and park in designated parking areas only. The swimming pool is usually open from 09:00 – 20:00 during the main season. Children under 15yr must be accompanied by an adult. The restaurant and country club are open to members and non-members; the club is usually open from Easter until the end of the season,however,we are unable to guarantee that either the Pool or Club will be open during your stay as this is out of our control thus no refunds will be given if the facilities are not available during your break. Under 18’s are allowed in the function room when accompanied by an adult.Guests will need to pay a small fee to join the club whilst they are on holiday if the wish to use the club (application forms are in the chalet).Music and noise must not be allowed to cause annoyance to neighbouring chalets. Chalet 8 Our Chalet has recently been refurbished and has everything you need for an enjoyable break.

It sleeps up to four people in two rooms, one double and one bunk bed which is best suited to children or adults under 80Kg.

It has a well-equipped kitchen including cooker, microwave, and toaster. (Please note bedding and Towels are only supplied if these have been requested and paid for at the time of booking) WIFI is available (The site provide this on a pay per use basis , visit reception to organise) to use during your stay and a satellite TV just in case you get bored of the amazing view. There is also a Blue-Ray player and a selection of DVD’s and a couple of board games.

 Please note that the chalet may not be suitable for anyone with mobility/breathing issues as we are on the top of the hill with a steep path, to allow for a panoramic view. 

Small toddlers & Pets would need constant supervision when outside the Chalet due to possible risk of falling from the balcony area as their is only a safety fence in-situ outside our property !!

Our Chalet 7 Erw Porthor is far more suitable for toddlers and larger dogs
